  Dr. Darlington has over 20 years experience in the area of plant-environment interactions and has been researching the use of biofilters as a means of improving indoor air quality since 1994. He is currently recognised as a world expert in the area of indoor biofilters. Alan has received a number of awards for academic and entrepreneurial accomplishments and is the 'inventor' of a number of patents integral to the application of biofilters to the indoor space. With this expertise, Alan formed the company in 2001 where he has successfully transferred the technology from the laboratory to the market place.

  Dr. Vincent Amanor-Boadu has been with the company since its inception, working closely with the President. Vincent is responsible for assessing Air Quality Solutions' market environment and developing the appropriate strategic initiatives to seize opportunities and address challenges.

As a research-focused company, Air Quality Solutions maintains a modern research facility with well-trained researchers working, among other things, on plant selection, medium modification and ambient control technology. We also maintain close collaboration with other researchers in its domain, drawing on their expertise whenever such resource is deemed appropriate and in line with the company's overall strategy.
